She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gail Russell and Laura Bell Russell (Reed); her daughter Karmella "Kandi" Smith; her siblings, Ethel Read, Virginia Moore, June Wise, Mildred Walters, Charlotte Knepp, Paul and Danny Russell; and her former husband Kenneth Bickel.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ellen Morales; her stepdaughters, Tracy Romine-Smith (Mike) and Kim May; and her grandchildren, Gary Smith, Jr., Brian Smith, Brandi Kisor (Devin), Branden Romine (Sasha), Mary Ella Morales, Walter "Franky" Morales and Blu Morales. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
