It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Sukla of Fairfield, Ohio, born in Donora, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Griger and Mary Oley Griger; her husband Paul Sukla; and her siblings, Mary Smoker, Edward, Joseph, Rudy, Paul and Thomas Griger.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Sendelbach (Tony) of Cincinnati, OH and Robert Sukla (Jan) of Waldorf, MD; her grandchildren, Carianne Jones (Michael) of Cincinnati, OH, Scott Fugich (Kristie) and Michael Fugich (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Tre Fugich, Sydney Fugich, Joseph Fugich, Ryleigh Fearn, Brinley Fearn and Ethan Fugich.
To be socially responsible during this time of the Covid-19 pandemic, we will continue to limit the attendance to 25 people inside the funeral home at any given time. Guests are asked to obey social distancing guidelines and personal protection guidelines which include masks within the funeral home.
