The memory of Donald L. Baynes of Fairfield, Ohio, who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle H. Baynes and Marguerite Baynes (Zimmerer); and his grandson Matthew Baynes. He is survived by: his wife Gale A. Ward; his children, Michael Baynes (Tricia), Kathy Abbott (Tim) and Allison Van Natta (Jeff); his stepchildren, Lance Faig (Terina) and Ami Manley (James); his siblings, Betty Trautwein, Patty Seaton (Ken) and Michael Baynes; and his pet Miller. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen Cemetery (1314 Greenwood Ave, Hamilton, OH 45011).
