He was predeceased by: his father James Mapes. He is survived by: his children, Amber Wright (Brandon), Elizabeth Mapes (Tony), Alicia, Marie Coss (Zach), Abigail Coss, Ashley Coss and Alexis Nethers-Mapes; his mother Mary Mapes (Hillary Nethers); and his siblings, Kim Berringer and Chris Mapes. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to help with funeral expenses.
