She was predeceased by: her parents, Simp Fike and Kate Fike (Dixon); her husband Elmer Howard; and her brother Jim Fike. She is survived by: her children, Roger Howard (MaryAnn), Elmer Howard Jr. (Paula), Ronald Howard (Becky), Randall Howard, Dianna Edmonds (Scott), James Howard and Nannie Katherine; and her sister MattieAnne Newman. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
