It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Rose Blevens of Fairfield, Ohio, born in Hamilton, Ohio, who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adrian Benzing and Kathryn Benzing; her husband Allan Roger Blevens; her children, Lisa Blevens and Allan Scott Blevens; her daughter-in-law Monica Blevens; and her siblings, Adrian Benzing (Beulah), Gene Benzing (Anna Mae), Jerrold Benzing (Juanita), Rita Murphy (Ray) and Betty Cross (Wilbur).
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Rutherford (Rock Rutherford); her daughter-in-law Tonya Blevens; her grandchildren, Allan "Scottie" Blevens Jr. (Cindy), Nichole Janos (Glenn) and Ryan Blevens (Maria); her great grandchildren, Christian (Danielle), Lily, Ashlin and Sebastian; and her niece Jenny Porter (Roy). She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Barbara's loving memory to an animal shelter or charity of your choice.
