He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Brinson and Mary Brinson (Smith); his children, Robert Brinson and Jacqueline Bibbs; and his siblings, Robert Brinson, Charlie Brinson, Frank Brinson, Catherine Byrd, Rose Powell and Beatrice Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Alma; his brother Clifford Brinson (Johnnie); and his children, Linda Bibbs, Willie C. Brinson Jr. (Susan), Dorothy Brinson, Wanda Brinson and Christopher Brinson (Renee). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; as well as extended family.
