She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sowards and Sharon Sowards (Gallagher); and her husband Kenneth Karr (Steve Beal). She is survived by: her sister Kathleen; her brother-in-law Mark Foust of Fairborn; her granddaughter Grace Carter; her niece Lacie Drake; her nephews, David Foust (Erika) and Michael Foust; her cousin Emma Affortit; and her pet Bella.
