She was predeceased by: her parents, Teddy E. Thorne and Bessie Thorne (Wells); her husband George; and her siblings, Richard Thorne and Jean Summers.
She is survived by: her children, Teri Daniel (Charles), Gale Bryan (Jane), Gwen Bryan, Ronald McLoud and Donald McLoud. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other extended family.
