With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Sawyer of Fairborn, Ohio, born in New Bremen, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2024 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her father Frederick Solms; her husband Kenneth Lynn Sawyer; her son-in-law Doug Chesney; and her granddaughter Nikki Cooper. She is survived by: her mother Deloris Solms; her children, Steve Alan Sawyer (Anna), Teresa Chesney and Jennifer Lynne Little (Bob); her grandchildren, Stephanie Royse (Rob), Samantha Janson (Charlie Sargent) and Jessie Carf (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Marissa Skean (Gabe), Kiersten Pugh, Lindsay Pugh (Gage Wisecup), Caitlyn Royse (Nick Williams), Cody Royse, Colton Janson, Aria Janson, Hudson Sargent, Oliver Sargent, Ellinor Sargent, Emma Carf, Rylee Carf and James Carf; her great great grandchildren, Delilah Wisecup, Douglas Wisecup and David Wisecup; her sister Janet Tobin; and her nieces, Deb Cole and Ruthie McCauley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Shirley's honor.
