She was predeceased by: her parents, Ona Rea Ritchie (Tipton) and Arthur Henson; her sister Brenda Burgess; her brother-in-law Walter Burgess, II; her niece Tammy Burgess; her nephew Walter Burgess, III; and her mother-in-law Georgia "Granny" Fultz.

She is survived by: her children, Martha Smith (Darion) and Michael Henson; her brother Mark Henson (Sheila); her grandchildren, Alyssa Schulte-Smith (Anthony), Brittany Elasass (Dustin), Neveah Henson and Michael Henson-Smith; her great grandchildren, Isaac James Smith, Ethan Elasass and Ella Elasass; her cousin Jeff Henson (Phillip Fultz); her nieces and nephews, Sherry Taulbee, Tammy Collins (Justin), Bobby Burgess (Dottie), Dustin Bowens, Anthony Gilbert and Christopher Gilbert (Christina); and also Belinda Hill. She is also survived by numerous other family members and many friends.
