“I am in Florida for the winter and I just learned today of Ruth's tragic death. While she was prepared and ready to be joined with Ken, the circumstances of her passing must be very difficult for you to bear. I worked with Ruth and we always enjoyed lunches together when I came back to Ohio in the Spring. She was a good friend and taught me not by what she said, but by the way she lived. I will always remember her gentle, loving ways.”
