She is survived by: her siblings, Ed Whitacre (Shirley), Mary Moats (Ron) and John Whitacre (Janet); her grandchildren, Jason Moats (Kelly), Courtney Popovich (Chris), Audrey Whitacre, Paul Whitacre (Becca), Lauren Shepherd (Robert) and Carol Whitacre; and her siblings, Taylor (Connor), Caleb (Maddie), Caitlyn, Colin, Liam, Joel, Eli, Daniel, Adalida, Thibodeaux, Evangeline, Alexandria, Olivia, Garrett, Maisey, Andrew and Hayze. She is also survived by extended family, and close friends.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
