He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward and Celora Pearl Bastin (Johnson); and his brother Dale Bastin. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughter Heather Bastin; his grandson Dakota; his brother Lowell Bastin (Eleanor); and his mother-in-law Marjorie Schori. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
