She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Swain and Helen Swain; her husband Roger D. Parsons; and her brother Robert Swain. She is survived by: her children, Pam Cornette of Riverside, Terry Parsons of Clayton and Keith Parsons of Springfield; and her sister Ruby. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
