He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Brooks and Lucy Brooks (Sandfur); his wife Dorothy; his daughter Betty Brooks; and his siblings, Edna Hamilton and Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Dian Young of Piqua, Shirley Beegle (Mike) of Fairborn and Winston Brooks (Brenda) of Harrogate, TN; and his brother Ray Brooks (Stella). He is also survived by four grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren.
