He was predeceased by: his father Don Brackett; his daughter Deanna N. Brackett; his stepsister Diane Deese; his nephew Jeremy Weaks; and his stepfather Bobby Davis.
He is survived by: his mother Clara Davis (Wyatt); his daughter Caitlin Brackett; his sisters, Mandy Brackett-Hofferbert, Sandy Brackett-Wilt (Steven) and Becky Brackett-Thompson (Rick Massie); his nephews, Jon Weaks and Robert Deese (Jessica); and his niece Sara Massie-Ordway. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
