She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Adkins and Roma Adkins (Dillon); her husband Charles Tallent, Jr.; her son Robert "Bobby" Tallent; her granddaughter Stephanie Hitchcock; and her great grandchild Duane Culbreath, II.
She is survived by: her children, Nina Thompson of Huntington, WV, Norma Tallent of Beavercreek, Jeanne Hitchcock of Middletown and Charles Tallent, III (Kelly) of Fairborn; and her grandchildren, Jonathan, Joseph, David, Michael, Charles IV, Nicole and Trina. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family.
