He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack H. Sloan and Mercy Sloan; his brother Douglas Sloan; his sister-in-law Helen Sloan; his son-in-law Jeff Hurst; and his friend Ronnie Wells.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Hurst of Fairborn, OH and Kenny Sloan (Amy) of Centerville, OH; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian Hurst, Sarah, Christopher and Katie Sloan; his great grandchildren, Travis Butts, Joey Lamoureux and Alice Fay Taylor; his nieces, Lisa Kurtz (Tom) and Missy Young (Mike); his great-niece Marie; his nephew Tyler Lewis; his friend Michelle Davidson; and also Leon.
