She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Pennington and Alta Pennington (Fraley); her daughter Kathy Saundra Lane; her siblings, Coy Ronald Pennington, Willie Randiff Pennington, Glen Nelson Pennington, Gemina Lee Pennington, Dorothy DeHart, Lurene Ison, Allie Ann Anderson, Pearlie Black, Leeona Tackett, Monie Nadine Downing and Martha Elizabeth Buttry; and her former husbands, Charles Lee Wells and James Poe.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robyn Lee Weddington (Rick) of Fairborn and Penny Watson (Garry) of Jamestown; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Fitch (Jenna), Lora Conrad (Jeff), Crystal Bassett (Nate), Daphne Damien Wilson and Cassaundra Fitch; her great grandchildren, Brock Eaton, Arabella Eaton, Axel Hellickson, Savannah Bassett and Cheyenne Bassett; and her sister Margery Griffith of Fairborn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a church of the donor's choice -or- the Alzheimer's Association in Laura's memory.
