It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen L Bistrek (Fairborn, Ohio), born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on February 19, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eugene Pfuhl and Hester Pfuhl (Morgan); her brother Lewis Daniel Pfuhl; her husband Thomas L.; her children, Mike (Leslie Bistrek) of Beavercreek, Jaynie (Scot Garman) of Beavercreek and Jeannie (Steve Anderson) of Miamisburg; and her brother Steve Pfuhl. She was also cherished by ten grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
