She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Helton and May Helton (Hartsock); her son Larry; and her brother Bud Helton. She is survived by: her husband William; her sons, Gary Stapleton (Beth) and Donnie "Bones" Stapleton; her grandchildren, Chaz Stapleton (Valery) and Hailey Stapleton; her great grandchild Amos Stapleton; and her siblings, Elva Jenkins (Raleigh), Ina Lyons (Calvin), Betty Jenkins and Gene Helton.
