It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Shoemaker of Fairborn, Ohio, born in Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Elwood and Pauline Roberts (Coss); her husband John R. Shoemaker Sr.; her grandson Cory Christy; her great grandchild Carson DiGregorio; and her brother Tom Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Christy (Brett) of Maryland and John, Jr. Shoemaker (Deanna) of Xenia; her grandchildren, Kyle Christy (Amy), Travis Shoemaker (Erica), Amber DiGregorio and Ben Sharp (Liz Merritts); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Hailey, Grace, Emily Christy, Grayson, Madelyn Shoemaker, Ava DiGregorio and Nevaeh Merritts; and her niece Melissa Muncy. She is also survived by numerous other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fairborn FISH Food Pantry.
