She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Gifford and Viola Gifford (Benedict); her son John David Potts; her brothers, Raymond Van Buren Gifford and Tommy Joe Gifford; and her sister-in-law Linda Moses Gifford.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Hood (John) of Portsmouth, Michael Potts (Jennifer) of Portsmouth and Sandra Miller (Matt) of Fairborn; her grandchildren, Sarah, Jonathan, Caleb, Mikey, Emily, Cassie and Lexie; her brothers, Mike Gifford (Bernadine) of Portsmouth, James Gifford of Huber Heights and Terry Gifford (Sherry) of Portsmouth; and her daughter-in-law Jill Potts of Michigan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and many friends.
