She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Brinegar and Emma Brinegar (McQueen); her siblings, Charles Brinegar (Mary Elizabeth), Eugene Brinegar (Mildred), Hazel Jenkins (Ervin), Marie Angel and Ernie Lee Brinegar; her brother-in-law Sonny Short; and her grandson-in-law Ben Goodpaster.
She is survived by: her husband Dorsie; her children, Carolyn Sue Fyffe, Vickie Morgan (Mike), Dorsie C. Fyffe, Jr., Brian Scott Fyffe (Andi) and Michelle Marie Tierney (Ryan); her grandchildren, Stephanie Goodpaster, Matthew Morgan, Phoebe Fyffe, Elliott Fyffe, Zoe Tierney and Ronin Tierney; her great grandchild Lucas Goodpaster; her siblings, Cordelia Short, Joseph Brinegar (Nancy), Patty Sue Greene and Elizabeth Ann "Sissy" Benner; and her nephew Rick Jenkins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Valley Hospice in her memory.
