He was predeceased by: his parents, William Curtis and Thelma Ruth Cornett (Hughes). He is survived by: his wife Iva; his children, Harold D. Cornett (Stephanie) and Lavonda Chandler; his grandchildren, Harold M. Cornett (Taryn), Shelby Cornett, Cole Chandler and Bailey Chandler; and his great grandchildren, Noah Michael Cornett and Greyson Landon Cornett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
