He is survived by: his wife Renita; his daughters, Julie Benge (Sam) and Dina Ward (Scott Taylor); his grandsons, Jacob and Joshua Benge; his stepgrandchildren, Sierra Geier (Eric) and Sam Benge; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Madison, Eric and Gwen Geier; and his siblings, Janet Hedric (Darrell) and Michael Rapp.
