He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Kegley and Mauverine Kegley (Whitt); and his siblings, Lillian Teague and Leroy Kegley. He is survived by: his wife Ardena; his children, Kimberly Klohe (Matthew) of Piqua and David Kegley (Faith) of Fairborn; his grandchildren, Jacob Hill, Skylar Hill, Adrianna Kegley, Mariah Kegley and Kaylee Kegley; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel and Matthew. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
