He was predeceased by: his parents, George Broderick and Margaret Broderick (Sullivan); his wife Mary; his sister Margaret Mary Maxwell; and his granddaughter Mary Helen.

He is survived by: his children, George Broderick Jr (Deborah), Dayton, Bob Broderick (Rebecca), Thomas Broderick (Debi), Christopher Broderick (Jean), John Broderick (Melissa) of Yellow Springs and Liz Bowers (Tom); his brother Jack Broderick (Kathy); and his great grandchild Erin Broderick.
