With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erik Sondergelt (Fairborn, Ohio), born in Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on February 16, 2022 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lloyd and Hedwig Sondergelt (Heck). He is survived by: his wife Diane; his daughters, Ellen Strawn (John) and Katie Hughes (Cody); and his granddaughters, Molly and Kacey. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Air Force Museum Foundation, the Parkinson's Foundation, or a charity of the donor's choice.
