He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Ellis and Orlena York (Hill); and his sister Violet McKinnon. He is survived by: his wife Lorene; his sons, Steve York (Darlene) and Stan York (Wendy); his grandchildren, Kyle York, Kerry York and John Murray; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Camrin, Carter and Chase; and his brothers, Dallas York (Linda) and Lyndal York (Peggy). He is also survived by extended family and friends.
