It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elbert Preston of Fairborn, Ohio, born in Paintsville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Preston and Flossie Preston (Jennings); and his siblings, Zelphia "Deal" Osborne Blanton, Mary Dean Osborn, Della "Faye" Adkins, Roy Alvis Preston and Freddie Preston.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Preston of Fairborn; his daughter Kimberly; his son-in-law Shane Fuller of Columbus, OH; his sons, Scott Preston of Nashville, TN and Brian; his daughter-in-law Karen Preston of Willington, OH; his sister Phyllis; his brother-in-law Roger DeLong of Fairborn; his brother Coby; his sister-in-law Juanita Preston of Fairborn; and his friend Elbert. He is also survived by five granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, church family, neighbors.
