It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Makarchuk of Fairborn, Ohio, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Makarchuk and Tekla Makarchuk (Hudak); his brothers, Harry, Peter, Paul and William; and his brother-in-law John Abreu.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Mary Chidester; his siblings, Nicholas Makarchuk (Ann) and Mary Abreu; his sisters-in-law, Beverly and Audrey Makarchuk; and his children, Gordon, Lisa, Laura and Lana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eintracht Singing Society or Hospice of Dayton in memory of Edward.
