He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Sloan and Mercedes Sloan (Schuler); and his significant other Helen. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Kurtz (Tom) and Melissa Young (Mike); his granddaughter Marie Young; his stepgrandchildren, Erin Brewer (Lance) and David Kurtz; his brother Leon Sloan; his brother-in-law Jim McKee (Samantha); his nieces, Leslie Hurst and Tamara Lewis; his nephew Kenny Sloan (Amy); his son-in-law Tom; and his friend Terra. He is also survived by children and grandchildren and many beloved friends and extended family.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Doug's memory for their wonderful care during his last days.
