With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dosha Margaret Pettit of Fairborn, Ohio, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on July 9, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward and Dicie Mae Smith (Noble); her husband Robert; and her children, Victor Stidham, Robert G. Maxwell II, James E. Maxwell and Marie Pettit.

She is survived by: her daughter Heather Hedges of Trotwood; her grandchildren, Jessica, Marah, Danielle, Phillip, Ronnie, Gabe, Jon, Robert G. and Willie; her siblings, Becky Smith, Sandy Wells, Sam, Joe and Buster; and her nephew Jeffrey Howard. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Ohio Masonic Home.
