She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Nielsen and Dina Nielsen (Vista); her husband Joseph; her children, Debbie Hernandez, Laura Carder and Wayne Caponera; and her siblings, Alice, Jeanine, Carl and John.
She is survived by: her children-in-law, Steven Carder and Cecelia Caponera; her grandchildren, Joseph Carder, Lisa Carder, Michael Smith, David Smith, Gina Smith, Amanda Czerniak, Giovanni Hernandez, Tony Hernandez and Vanessa Hernandez; and her sister Betty Benson. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
