He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rost and Edna Rost (Birkey); his wife Ruth Emily Rost; and his brothers, Robert and Kenneth Rost.
He is survived by: his sons, David Rost (Barbara) of Fairborn and Jeffery Rost of Greenville; and his sister Rebecca. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dayton Ave. Baptist Church (1121 Dayton Ave, Xenia, OH 45385). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
