He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Meadows and Virginia Meadows; and his siblings, James, Betty, Willis, Wilford, Peggy, Rosemary, Billy Joe, Steve and Edgar Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Tim Meadows (Michelle) and Tom Meadows (Holly); and his brother Charles Meadows. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, special in-law, other extended family, and many friends.
