She was predeceased by: her parents, Autie Sargent and Nellie Sargent (Howard); her husband Orlin Adams; and her granddaughter Heather Bates. She is survived by: her children, Sharon McKnight and Jeffery Adams. She is also survived by three grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
