He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Abbitt. He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kory" Abbitt (Rogus); his son Benjamin "Ben" Abbitt; his father John "Jack" Abbitt Sr. (Cheryl); and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Abbitt (Angie), Karen Snider (Mike) and Cheryl Bruner (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws friends.
The family requests no flowers. Memorial Contributions be made to the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation, Cleveland Clinic Foundation or Hospice of Dayton.
