He was predeceased by: his father Emery Southwood (Sue); his grandfathers, Alex Jones (Judy) and Shane Southwood (Peggy); and his granddaughter Kadance Vanscoy. He is survived by: his mother Geneva Adkins (Jeannette) of Fairborn; his children, Amber Southwood of Kettering, Ashley Southwood of Fairborn, Alicia Pugh (Joseph) of Fairborn and Joshua Southwood of Columbus; his siblings, Gene Southwood, Tracy Adkins of Fairborn, Greg Adkins of Bellbrook, Johnny Southwood of Lexington, Shane Southwood of Winchester and Greg Southwood of Stanton; and his grandchildren, Bentlee, Jane, Lailyn, Ronin, Tyberius and Ryker. He is also survived by aunts, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
