He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene B. Smith and Dolly M. Smith (Wood). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca J. (Sharp); his sons, Steven R. (Cassandra), Matthew S. (Lindsay), Joshua L. (Megan) and Michael E; and his sisters, Karen Eason (Dayton), Mary (Larry) and Jones (Park Layne). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
