He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde and Edith Parsons, Sr. (Roberts); and his sister Claudette. He is survived by: his sons, Brent Parsons (Amy) and Travis Parsons (Jodi); his stepdaughter Jennifer (Tim); his grandchildren, Allyson (Aaron), Emily (Nick), Austin, Joe, Kyle, Jeffrey, Alex, Carter, Elizabeth, Brittney and Addie; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Ben, Brentlee, Anna and Cora; and his siblings, Arlene, Angie, Sheila, Celia and Ginny. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
