He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Koogler and Ethel E. Koogler (Sidenstick); his son David W. Koogler Koogler (Nancy); his siblings, Kermit Koogler, Katharine Koogler Hunt and Paul Meese; and also, Milo Koogler, Goldie Coblentz Smith, Fonnie Koogler, Ezra Koogler, Berdelia Koogler Wagner, Archie Koogler and Sylvia Koogler Forsyth.
He is survived by: his children, James G. Koogler (Lisa) and Sue Ann Jones (Charlie); his sister Grace Koogler Croutcher; his grandchildren, Davy Koogler, Kristina Koogler, Adam J. Koogler (Pantea Tehrani), Carman Jones, Amy E. Koogler (Nate Patrick), Jonathan Jones (Morghan) and Gabriel Jones; his great grandchildren, Chris Wroten, Michael Wroten, Donald Koogler, Juliet Pauley, David Jerome Koogler, Jada Koogler, MacKay Jones, Bentley Jones, Alifair Jones and Cyrus Koogler; his great great grandchild Hazel August Sue Wroten; and also Joy Donathan.
