With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Lee Kearns of Fairborn, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2024 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard W. Kearns and Ozie M. Kearns (Maxwell); his brothers, Larry Kearns and Kenny Kearns; and his nephew Kenny.
He is survived by: his wife Joetta Marie Kearns (Casebier); his daughter Trisha Rak Kearns; his stepsons, Joseph Keaton (Courtney) and David Keaton; his grandchildren, Corey, Tiffany and Salvador; and his sister Jean Whitaker (Chris). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home (422 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Valley View Memorial Gardens (170 N Valley Rd, Xenia, OH 45385). A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the same location.
