She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Abney and Wilma Abney (McCarty); her husband Donald F. McBride; her daughter Debra Popple; and her close friend Clay Wagers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carrie Muterspaw (Eric) and Malinda McBride; and her siblings, Teresa Abney, David Abney, Michael Anthony Abney and Timothy Turner. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
