He was predeceased by: his parents, Alf Hammons and Flora Hammons (Lewis); his wife Letha; and his siblings, Gladys, Anna, Hattie, Roger and Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Hammons, Barbara Seibel (Mike), David Hammons (Kathy) and Melissa Brackett (Greg). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
