He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Combs and Ovie Combs; and his siblings, Clyde Combs, Doug Combs and Barbara Furlong.

He is survived by: his son Joe Frazier; his niece Nikki Beimel (JD); and his former wife Louise Frazier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
