She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Bloomfield and Florence Bloomfield (Holmes); her former husband William E. Jenkins; her husband Carl Brigner; and her grandchildren, William "Stacy" Howard and Kimberly Dawn Howard.
She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis Howard (George) of Fairborn; her grandchildren, Terri Preston (Jeff), Shannon Howard-Habel (Mark) and Susan Skaggs-Lowrie (Ronnie); her great grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Alecia, George Robert, Christopher and Sarah; and her great great grandchildren, Kylie and Timmy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
