She was predeceased by: her parents, Quinton Taylor and Martha Bell Jelks; her husband Willie C. Brinson; her children, Robert "Bobby" Brinson and Jacqueline Bibbs; and her siblings, Willie Harris, Carey Talbert, Clarence Talbert, Betty Jean Talbert, Ella Jelks and Juanita Jelks.
She is survived by: her siblings, Carl Talbert, Alta Taylor, Harold Talbert and James Talbert; and her children, Linda Bibbs, Willie C. "Billy" Jr. Brinson (Susan), Dorothy Brinson, Wanda Brinson and Christopher Brinson (Renee). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; as well as extended family.
